A famous psychiatrist takes on the job of trying to cure patients at the Sedah State Hospital, run by its folksy doctor. All this takes a strange turn when a mysterious patient (Satan, he calls himself) enters the Hospital seeking help. Or is it just help that he wants?
Comment: This film has a weird quality to it. It's not filled with roller coaster intensity and has a pretty casual pace but it's very creative and ultimately clever. I like being thrown for a loop and generally, I can almost always see these things coming but that was not the case with this film. It's a difficult movie to talk about without giving away the plot and twists. This is geared towards those who like bizarre thriller movies with a bit of horror or paranormal element to the plot. I like weird but intelligent and this delivers. Well written, well directed and well acted. It's worth watching at least a couple times as I'm sure there is a lot of abstract imagery hidden in the scenes as well as clues to what exactly is in fact taking place. Low budget with a simple but clever concept that really delivers.
